The array is one site. The files usually are not.

A solar inspection or mapping visit may yield RGB stills, thermal JPEGs, an ortho of the field or roof, a PDF of observations, and a spreadsheet of string notes. Those often leave as a photo album, a separate thermal folder, and an emailed report.

On the next visit the new files start another folder. The plant’s visual history never quite lives in one place the client can open.

SpearAtlas treats thermal frames as ordinary imagery when you upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP. It does not detect hotspots, grade modules, or replace your I-V or thermal analysis software. It keeps the documentation together.

Upload RGB and thermal stills to Images, the site ortho to Maps, video if you recorded a pass, and PDFs plus spreadsheets to reports and supporting files. Repeat visits update the same project.

Share the project with the asset owner or EPC. They can see the current documentation. Analysis and warranty decisions stay in the tools and people responsible for them.

A typical solar documentation visit

Quarterly O&M on a ground-mount site. You have RGB stills, thermal JPEGs from the same flight, a current ortho, a PDF of observations, and a spreadsheet of string IDs.

    Capture RGB and thermal with your aircraft and cameras. Run any hotspot or performance analysis in the software you already use. SpearAtlas does not do that analysis.

    File the documentation

    Upload stills (including thermal JPEGs) to Images, the ortho to Maps, the PDF to reports, and the spreadsheet to supporting files on the existing plant project.

    Label for the next visit

    Title rooms by date or quarter so the owner can tell this visit from the last without opening every file.

    Share the plant project

    The owner uses the same link as last quarter. They see current imagery and the report; they do not get a diagnosis from SpearAtlas.
